The Library

Penair School has a fantastic library which is a very popular spear used by the students for a variety of activities. As well as holding a large selection of books it also has a small computer suite and is a quiet area for students to do their homework, revision or read.It also holds several national and local newspapers and a selection of magazines for both students and staff to browse.

The library hosts several events including a regular Film Club which gives students the chance to watch a movie and then read to the book to promote reading for pleasure. It is also the venue for a popular Chess Club, Book Fairs and Paired Reading where students in Year 11 work with younger students who might need extra help.

The resource center is always filled with colourful displays and is a place where students are recognised for their achievements including artist, cook and poet of the month.
