Marie Gendall

Marie has always lived in Cornwall, and currently works for Cornwall Council managing a team that provides statutory payroll services to Cornwall Council directorates and schools, as well as academies and other employers who purchase a payroll service from the Council.

Marie has had first-hand experience of the unique educational, extra-curricular and pastoral support provided by the school as both of her daughters are past students.

Marie has been a Governor since 2014 and is currently the Safeguarding Governor.  Marie also served as Vice Chair for a number of years.  Marie feels privileged to serve on the Governing Board and gain a greater understanding about the work undertaken by the Headteacher and his staff in making continuous improvements to the school.

Marie would like to ensure that all students receive not only the very best education but also leave the school as “well-rounded” individuals who have had a positive experience of school.
